The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin has cautioned the general public to desist from creating new social media accounts in his name to defraud people.
In a post via his Facebook page, Hon. Afenyo-Markin issued a strong warning to those fraudsters engaging in this fictitious act to put an abrupt end to it.
"Please kindly disregard all manner of extortions and request from any Facebook or Linkedin account posing to be me and directing you to anyone supposedly close to me for assistance."
