Mr. Joseph Z. Amenorwode, the Volta Regional Minister, has appealed to civil and public servants to implement government policies faithfully.
"Our professionalism must rise above our political views", he said.
Mr. Amenorwode was addressing heads of departments and assembly members of the Nkwanta North District assembly as part of his tour of the northern part of the Volta Region.
He urged civil and public servants in the district to resolve to give priority attention to the development of the district.
The Minister commended the Assembly for providing accommodation as means of attracting public and civil servants to work in that new district.
Mr. Amenorwode said government was impressed with the assembly's commitment and would play its part.
He also assured Nana Knoja V, Paramount chief of Kpassa, of government's resolve to complete all ongoing projects and to construct the Damanko/Accra road.
Nana Konja appealed to government to extend electricity to all communities in the area.
