The Ghana Cocoa Board on Thursday announced
that purchases of the 2010/11 main crop cocoa season would cease at
the close of business on Thursday, May 19, 2011.
A statement signed by Mr Anthony Fofie, Chief Executive of Ghana
Cocoa Board, said in order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies
(LBCs) to obtain the final returns from up-country stations, purchases
would be accepted up to 1400 hours on Thursday May 26, 2011.
