The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Robert P. Jackson has expressed satisfaction with the level of calmness that has characterized today’s presidential and parliamentary polls.
Ghana is voting to either retain incumbent president John Mahama or replace him with one of the other six candidates in the race to the Flag Staff House.
President Mahama is expected to beat the presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo to race to the Flagstaff House according a Ben Ephson polls pegging him [Mahama] at 52.4% with Akufo-Addo garnering a little over 44%.
Speaking on Wednesday, after observing how the exercise had been unfolding in some polling stations in the capital, Mr. Jaackosn said “the process has been smooth. It has been transparent. People understand how they should vote and there has been no sign of intimidation. Certainly no sign of violence. We witness one polling placewhere voting machines has not arrived. It arrived an hour later and then they start immediately processing people in a very expeditious fashion.
I’m very satisfied that Ghana is maintaining its reputation as a beacon of democracy.”

May be Ben Ephson lives and conducts his pools in a different country.
You NPP guys are really funny, when it is not in your court its bad, when he predicted about former president Kuffour's victory, you niggassss were happy but he predicted about Mahama's victory you were calling him all sort of bad names. Double standard at highest order!!
Now I know Ben epson is fake. He doesn't go to the grounds for his research. He only receives money from his pay masters then sit in his bathroom to cook unrealistic figures. Shame on yo Ben.

IRRESPONSIBLE JOURNALISM. WHAT IS THE ROLE OF EPHSON'S PREDICTION IN THIS STORY. TRASHHH JOURNALISM AND REPORTAGE. IMMATURITY IN REPORTING
What has ben Ephson's stomach prediction got to do with the US ambassador's remarks. Just inserted it in the story. Peacefm pls remove story.
The expectation could be grounded if the plans Lordina Mahama, Asiedu Nketia, John Mahama and the EC have plotted to be executed in Jaman North is to come off. You would recall one of the opposition parties raised concerns of some 600,000 thousand voter cards that were just issued to the NDC party. That is what Ben Ephson is referring to and their expectation is it can save Mahama in this elections. Ghana must watch it and stop that impunity in it's tracks.
THE DECEIVER IS AT IT AGAIN. HIS STOMACH IS JUST ABOUT BEING EMPTIED. HIS PAYMASTER WILL BE NO MORE. CHANGE IS COMING!
The aspect of the 52% vs 44% glitch is the writer's own 'make-up'. It really distorted the message the ambassador was putting across.
