''I only went there to do my job and didn't flout any law as I was cooperative. The atmosphere was not too friendly so I wanted to capture the environment. As soon as I took out my camera, Hajia Fati smashed my phone and heavily punched me. We are currently looking at the law to possibly take a legal action against her'' - Adom FM's Reporter, Ohemaa Sakyiwaa.

Sometimes it pays to respect other people's right to privacy, when on journalism duty. Some people's tolerance levels are shallow. Better luck next time.

Oh the alleged onion seller? In as much as what the woman did was appalling, you had no right taking an unsolicited photograph of her. The fact that you are a journalist gives you no right to behave anyhow. Both parties must apologize to each other. Period!
As a journalist on an official assignment, did you have a visible tag to show who you were, and did you ask for her permission for a photograph or an interview? if you care to know, you cannot even walk-by and start taking pictures people's property with owners' consent. The media organizations should rather think of how to offer a better education to their members than to make baseless argument. Hajia is not above the law but she also has a right. Let's be humble to accept mistakes and learn from them/
Some of you think you have the right to do everything because you are a journalist. I heard the woman, you were going to take her a picture without her consent. Please, don't twist the story. Be humble and learn and stop threaten her with legal action. Some of us are ready to face you and your lawyers. ***barred word*** ara kwa.
