NPP Loyal Ladies, a group affiliated with the ruling New Patriotic Party as part of their 7th anniversary paid visits to some hospitals and educational institutions across the country to ‘’show love’’ to the students and patients on 14th February Valentine’s Day.
At the Child Health Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching hospital, staff and parents of the children at the ward were overwhelmed with the love shown and expressed gratitude to the NPP and the Loyal Ladies team that visited the Unit.
Some of the schools the group visited included, UDS Tamale Campus, University of Ghana, Legon, University of Cape Coast (UCC), University of Energy and Natural Resources- Sunyani, Sunyani Technical University, Ghana Communication Technology University, Christian Service University College, Kumasi Technical University, UDS -Wa Campus, Wa Technical University, University of Professional Studies Accra-UPSA, Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial ( AAMUSTED), Nurses training college, Ho and Korle- Bu NMTC.
Gloria Adu, a leader of the group, said this is a gesture in their own small way to help bring smiles to the faces of Ghanaians and remind them that the New Patriotic party loves them and is working to bring relief to Ghanaians.
In all, over 10,000 bars of locally made chocolates were distributed around the country by the group.
