Government has once again been asked to give priority to the generation of electricity through solar power.
Speaking at the unveiling of one of Africa’s largest solar energy plants in Accra, the Senior Vice President of Scatec Solar, Terje Osmundsen, said though there is more hydro power coming into force from the Bui Dam and other gas plants to mitigate the current energy crises, it is still not enough to meet the high energy demand from the populace.
Mr Osmundsen said it is important to focus attention on solar power which is relatively easier to implement.
