Deputy Minister of Information Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said the Mills government would be the last to say they have solved all the problems in the country.
He said government would be the first to admit that there was a lot of work to be done. Speaking on Asempa FM, he said so far 62 per cent of public workers have been migrated unto the single spine salary structure, adding that government was still working hard to migrate health workers unto the system.
He said efforts were underway to increase salaries across board to enable Ghanaians meet their current needs, and improve on their living conditions.
Touching on the recent complaint by Volta Regional chiefs about the location for the university in that region, Mr. Okudzeto pleaded with the chiefs to be patient because construction of universities is a complex process that takes time.
He also noted that works on the STX housing projects at Burma Camps tarted last week, however that of Tesano was yet to start.
