Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, wife of NPP Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo and Adwoa Safo, Parliamentary candidate for Dome /Kwabenya, will on Wednesday, October 17th storm the Dome market as the Dome / Kwabenya constituency play host to Oman Fm�s HAVE YOUR SAY outdoor event.
The Oman fm Have Your Say programme is the station�s outdoor event specially designed to gauge the mood of the electorates and issues they consider in swaying their votes and support for a candidate or a political party.
It is part of the station�s Election 2012 campaign trail project; dubbed The Elections Reference Centre which is put together to ensure that listeners and the electorates are served with all ingredients that will inform their sense of taste in making their respective choices for the Election 2012.
It started at the Aburi Nsawam Constituency and has since hit the Tema East, Mpreaso, Ablekuma Central, Ashaiman and the New Abirem Constituencies so far.
Many residents are of the opinion that their standards of living have deteriorated and are eager to seize this rare platform of opportunity to vent their spleen and speak their minds of which way of the country�s developmental agenda they would prefer the paradigm to be tilted.
What To Expect
Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo is expected to deliver some policy interventions an Akufo Addo government would bring to market women who ply their trade at the various market centres.
The Parliamentary Candidate for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency and the hostess for the Wednesday edition, Lawyer Sarah Adwoa Safo, was upbeat about the opportunity and platform offered to her constituents especially the markets folks.
She intimated that any policy intervention that would be announced by Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo would positively affect the livelihood of the market folks. Adwoa Safo promised to periodically provide similar platforms to openly express their opinions of matters of concern to them, once she given the mandate to represent the constituents in Parliament.
