The nation has been witnessing an avalanche of peace meetings, seminars and messages pouring in ahead of the final judgment of the Supreme Court on the 2012 election petition.
To add their voice to the lot, five political parties that took part in the December 2012 election have called on flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo at his Nima residence to urge him in promoting peace in the country.
The meeting which was held behind closed doors on Wednesday, according to Peace FM's Naana Ntiri, was also aimed at encouraging Nana Akufo-Addo to accept the final verdict of the Supreme Court.
According to her, the parties included: Mr Akwasi Adei popularly known as Odike, flagbearer for the United Front Party (UFP); Independent candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY); Dr. Henry Lartey, Flagbearer of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP); Hassan Ayariga, flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC) and Abu Sakara, flagbearer of the Convention People�s Party (CPP).
The five according to reports are in another closed door meeting with President John Dramani Mahama.
