PNC’s General Secretary, Bernard Mornah has dismissed claims by leadership of the party that his ambition of becoming the party’s next National Chairman is in limbo.
“I am very optimistic of winning the PNC chairmanship race. I am still in the race,” he told NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'
Some members of the PNC want the party to disqualify Mr. Mornah for presenting an invalid cheque for the payment of his filing fee, and dues – they insist a final decision on Mornah’s fate will be taken on Monday ahead of the party’s delegates congress scheduled this Friday.
But, Bernard Mornah told 'Ghana Montie' host Kwasi Aboagye that he has been cleared by the vetting committee to contest in the upcoming primaries.
He said though he regrets what happened, he has fulfilled all the party’s requirements.
