Some alleged strong NDC members have been identify by pressure group Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA) as Steering Committee members of the Electoral Commission.
The group’s leader – David Asante believe strongly that the inclusion those NDC personalities serving on the EC’s Steering Committee can influence some decision in the upcoming November polls.
Mr Joseph Whittal who was mentioned by the group has insisted that he has no affiliation whatsoever with the incumbent government therefore he will not evacuate his post as insisted by the pressure group.
He maintained that - “I am not a card bearing member of the NDC” - and challenged anyone with evidence to the contrary to provide same.
But the LMVCA’s leader, David Asante still maintains that their outfit will appeal for the dissolution of the Steering Committee unless it is prepared to involve all the political parties.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show, Ghana Montie - David also hinted that, “It is not one person in the Steering committee who is an NDC member, out of the ten, we have fished out three. We will make it public soon the fourth NDC member on the EC’s steering committee.”
