Local government expert and a founding member of the National Democratic Congress Professor Kwamena Ahwoi averse that the NPP's proposal of one factory one district is misprioritised. Professor Ahwoi took his time to question the feasibility of the proposal.
To him the extension of electricity, water, building of roads, schools, and hospitals are necessary foundations for the building of a workable system of factories. "Without roads, electricity, water and all that President Mahama is building across the country how would factories work?", he quizzed.
Again he wondered how the proposal would be executed in reality when places like Tema already have over 400 factories. Does that mean Tema will receive a factory too?
Speaking at the NDC's campaign rally in Brosankro in the Tano South Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region the seasoned academic and politician also questioned the New Patriotic Party's basis for criticising the NDC's appointment of young people into government.
He referred the audience to history when Dr Kwame Nkrumah, President Rawlings and even himself were at the helm of national affairs at their youth.
It is therefore unfounded for them to keep looking down on the NDC for being a youthful party.
Amidst loud cheers he spoke in support of President Mahama and Dr Hanna Louisa Bissiw calling on the people to ensure that on December 7th they will turn out massively to vote and retain them in the Presidency and Parliament respectively.
The campaign continues to several other parts of the Brong Ahafo Region.

So President Mahama didnt know that he has to provide electricty, water, roads and he went ahead revamping komenda sugar factory, shoe factory and the rest he claims to have done. Per Ahwoi's logic NPP must finish providing electricity, water and roads across the country before they think about factories. Let me ask you Ahwoi, Prez Mahama has not provided all these things but started some factories, how about that one. You people have seen defeat staring at your face and you are now running helter scatter. it is too late
ONE-DISTRICT-ONE- FACTORY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO YOU BECAUSE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT. WE UNDERSTAND IT AND WILL IMPLEMENT IT TO THE WORD.
Listen to that corrupt man. Ahwoi are serious at all? You have made all your cotrust money already so how will it make money to you. You have served NDCFOR 27yrs what did you do for Ghana? Just open CASHPRO and stole all our monis thru cocoa board. ***barred word***
IT WILL NEVER MAKE SENSE TO ***barred word*** FORD BRIBE TAKERS LIKE YOU
Prof Ahwoi. tell them. Kuffour was 27 when he was a minister, are they saying one should be 75 years like their presidential candidate to be appointed a minister? educated illiterates.
Ato Ahwoi, you are a spent force. Don't attempt preaching to us a sermon on what makes sense. What sense did you make when you had 19 years of Ghana's independence. Respect yourself, else we will disrespect you.
Look at this blocked headed. Nothing good in your eyes cos it's coming from the NPP. You guys lack vision and foresight thats why we are suffering today. You only believe in "create, loot and chop". "Mo a bon papa". but CHANGE is coming whether you like it or yes.
