Pictures and videos have gone viral of attacks on some NDC supporters after their defeat in the just ended presidential and parliamentary polls.
Supporters of the NPP have been accused of launching attacks mainly on NDC gurus and celebrities who publicly declared their support for President John Dramani Mahama and used offensive words on then flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo.
NDC communicator and one of the three persons who was jailed for threatening the lives of judges in the country, Godwin Ako Gunn has condemned the act after describing it as “uncultured”.
Even though he had his branded NDC car slightly damaged a day after the EC’s declaration, he told NEAT FM’s morning host, Kwasi Aboagye that “I can’t confirm or accuse members of the NPP because I have no proof.”
“I am still using the car; I drove in the same car to Montie FM. People do the ‘Change’ gestures when they see me; some will be shouting ‘we’ll be back in 2020’. Nobody has approached me, nobody has attacked me. I still use the car,” he said on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
