General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has congratulated the party functionaries, sympathizers and Ghanaians for wresting power from President John Mahama and his NDC government.
John Boadu noted the party worked very hard together with some people who were not even members of the party but activists for change.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Boadu commended them and promised the Ghanaian citizenry of a better leadership and good governance.
He also condemned the post-election violence that characterized the nation.
He however rebuked the leadership of the NDC for accusing NPP supporters of perpetrating the violence.
According to him, any of the parties may have been the perpetrators and so, wondered how the NDC arrived at conviction that the violence was caused by members and supporters of the NPP.
John Boadu called for law and order in the country.
