A Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), is fast losing its integrity due to failed promises.
According to him, the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration has hit the path of bad governance lacking the morality and, it is looking convincingly clear that the promises the NPP made were all meant to deceive Ghanaians.
‘’They had no intention of implementing their promises. They lied to the people of Ghana. I read a story attributed to the Finance Minister that the energy levies may not be scrapped and I was surprised. He is the holder of the purse yet Boakye Agyarko has told Ghanaians that, they will scrap the levies; Bawumia has assured Ghanaians that they will pay DKM victims yet, the Finance Minister says it is not a manifesto promise. Within a matter of one month, this NPP administration has given us a lot of course to doubt their integrity and in governance, integrity is very key…And if this is the way they are going to begin, by destroying their integrity from day one, well I’m sure Ghanaians will judge. Very very early and would be yearning for 2020 to come. So they can use their thumbs to restore integrity back to governance.’’
When asked if he was not being fair in judging the current administration by the first month, he said, if the government will perform as they claim, the first month would be a yard stick to mark them.
The deputy scribe of the NDC in an interview with Rainbow Radio's Kwame Tutu added, the NDC is in full support and endorse the decision by the Minority not to be part of that illegal process of endorsing Madam Otiko Djaba, the Minister in charge of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
He described the process as crass illegality and slammed the Speaker, Prof. Mike Oquaye for being bias.
He indicated that the Majority used their numbers to approve the nominee although she failed to do her national service adding, this is the beginning of an autocratic and tyrant style of leadership under the NPP.

I think ndc used 40 days to destroy Ghana that's why they expect the competent people to fix in a day. These were the people who called themselves leaders and were in charge of Ghana. Ghanafuo 'AYEKOO' for driving away these fo*ls and drug addicts from our presidency, jokers and idi*ts who couldn't even think for themselves were helped by Afari Djan and Atuguba to think and make policies for the 27 million Ghanaians no wonder the country fell on a snag. Such dirty face, unkempt idi*ts were walking at the corridors of power aaah Ama Ghana paa nie? A Country once upon a time in the UK when world leaders were meeting and the weather disrupted aircrafts landing at the Heathrow airport and planes were hovering around the air space of Great Britain, which the meeting near got suspended, then came the announcement ' We are waiting for the final announcement from Ghana' then behold Ghana Airways appeared on the airspace and it landed safely with applauds and shouts and beating of drums, Ghana gave way to others to land. This is the country which was governed by fo*ls,unkempt people, jokers,***barred word***,unco*th and uncultured insulting so called politicians of the 21st century. I'm happy God has listened to our prayers and taking the power from fo*ls and handed it over to wisdom. Ghana our beloved country will be great again.
