NDC’s Emmanuel Victor Smith has questioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's style of leadership and claims the president who is almost 100 days in office will be unsuccessful as the leader of the country.
According to him, the president is not even on top of issues concerning his own party with vigilante groups disturbing the peace of the nation.
“Nana Addo is the president so he must with immediate effect issue directives to stop this behavior from the group [Delta Force]. If he doesn’t, we will have a lawless country under his watch. So where are we heading to as a country?” he questioned.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Ghana's former Ambassador to the United Kingdom noted that, “If the president cannot do the job then he should step down, it’s just an advise I am giving him.”
“What is going on in Ghana now is not a joke, it’s something we must find solutions to before it explodes,” he added.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned in no uncertain terms recent attacks by "Delta Force" in the Ashanti Region.
The party has petitioned the Police Service to crack the whip on the members of the "Delta Force" and ensure law and order in the Region.
Meanwhile, a Circuit Court in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi has refused bail to the eight members of pro-NPP group "Delta Force" who stormed the court last week and freed suspects.
This was after counsel for the accused prayed the court to grant them bail.
The lawyers said their clients were nowhere near the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Court, therefore, could not have caused the distraction they are being accused.
The judge said due to the nature of the case, the bail request cannot be granted.
He has directed that the accused be remanded to reappear in court on April, 18, 2017

who dare you to advice the President, advice your own self body.theiffffffffffffffff
WHO HAS FAILED MORE THAN YOU? ABUAKWA SOUTH CONSTITUENCY SEF U NOE FIT CHOP TWEAAAA
Even an IDOT like Emmanuel Victor Smith was made an Ambassador with no Foreign Service Experience. No wonder Ghana is far behind. He and his Incompetent NDC Lead by Mahama was in Office for well over 4 years, did he step down. The likes of Victor Smith and NDC still have not come to terms what caused their massive defeat. They lost because of the Create, Loot, and Share Mentality including NDC Mahama's Lead Massive Incompetence Level.
Killer,I wonder you're real akyem,if I were you,i'd rather keep mute because your dates in doing politics has numbered,Nana will descend on you heavily in a coming days just mark it
This 1diot Victor Smith was spokesman to JJ Rawlings and was SACKED by a text message. I rest my case. Victor smith is a wet mop.
He won't step down so go and overthrow him...I.d.i.o.t.
MR VICTOR SMITH, I ALSO ADVISE YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE MUNTIE-3 THREATENED AND INSULTED ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE INCLUDING THE CHIEF JUSTICE? WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THEY WERE FREED BY PRESIDENT MAHAMA? IF THEY HAD BEEN KEPT BEHIND BARS TO SERVE THEIR FULL TERM, OTHERS WOULD HAVE PICKED A LESSON FROM THAT. PLEASE, LEAVE THE PRESIDENT ALONE TO MANAGE THE MESS AND LAWLESS SITUATION YOUR NDC GOVERNMENT LEFT BEHIND.
