The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has chided government for sacking Alfred Ogbamey as the Communications Director for Ghana Gas Limited.
Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Kwesi Pratt Jnr said the position was not a political appointment and that it was wrong for the Presidency to have directly sacked Mr Ogbamey as the Communications Manager of Ghana Gas.
He argued that for a person occupying a public service office to be dismissed, he or she must have breached his or her contract. He however added that in such cases, government must provide grounds upon which the person was removed from office.
The Communication Director for National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has been appointed the New Communication Manger for Ghana Gas Company.
Owusu Bempah, a trained journalist takes over from communications expert, Alfred Ogbamey.
Ghana Gas Company is a state agency that handles the gathering, processing, transporting and marketing of natural gas resources in the country.

Who appointed Ogbamey? wasnt it Mahama.Pratt the hypocrate and most corrupt journalist in Ghana crying for a fellow corrupt journalist.Owusu Bempah is our hero and can do better than Ogbamey
Alfred Ogbeme
Masa, give us a break, we all have been in this country and can attest to how Alfred came by his job, stop this deceit, Mr Pratt should work hard and when CPP wins power he can reappoint Alfred who cares, did Pratt make this same noise when NDC came to power and removed perceived NPP appointee?
What's your beef now? If he's been sacked and u don't understand, massa junso na ko da wai me paa kyew paaa. No one is indispensable wai. We can't afford to continue running the country on propaganda. Y'abr3 paaa wai.
Politics aside, I think Kwasi Pratt is right here. The President has no business sacking any Public Officer or Servant if that person has not contravened any regulation or conducted himself in any negative manner. It has been the trend in Ghana and as we speak there are some public organizations, whose workers have been compelled to proceed on leave. Go to the Youth Employment Agency and you will be amazed as to the number of staff who are currently on leave since the assumption of office by the NPP government. There are rumours that the Agency has been gifted to the youth of the party. Can you imagine?
Hw does Ogbame be sympathised with. When u do de dirty job for ndc in 2012 to occupy dat position, u want to occupy it now? Apuuuuu! Shame Ogbame, next time u will be real to Ghanaians
Masa... I believe u so much if it comes to law, please go to supreme court. IN ur eyes Nana has no clue i anything even a class one pupil has more insight in life than Nana. Carry on.
