Founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International (GWPMI), Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has sought to quash reports that the "horn of unicorn" he presented to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, a few months after his inauguration as President, has brought untold hardships on Ghanaians.
According to the outspoken Prophet, it has come to his attention that some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are attributing the current economic hardship in the country to what they believe to be an "evil" force in the said horn.
But speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Rev. Bempah described such people as unlettered and ignorant about the Bible (the Holy book of Christians), and cited Samuel's anointing of David as King of Israel as an example.
“I heard that some NDC members claiming that the horn of strength I gave to our President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has brought hardship in the country. Some are even saying that there is an evil force in the horn fighting against Ghana and the government of Akufo-Addo....
“When I hear issues like this from the NDC, I realize that they are really ignorant about scripture. In the Bible, Samuel used a horn with oil in it to anoint David as a King, and so a horn is not an evil thing because most of the old prophets in the Bible used horns”, he stressed.
The General Overseer of the GWPMI further shaded the opposition NDC saying “there is more improvement in the standards of living and I know perfectly well that since President Akufo-Addo took over the administration, his achievements far outweigh the NDC's 8 years in government”.
The controversial Prophet, who swore to burn down his church building should the then NPP Flagbearer fail to win the 2016 elections, honoured him (Nana Addo) with the "horn of the unicorn" together with a Bible, when the President joined the congregation at Odorkor on Sunday March 19, to worship.
According to Rev Owusu Bempah, he was instructed by God to present the horn which signifies the strength and power of God to the President as he was about to face the task ahead of him (as President).
"This is the Bible, and this Nana is a horn, when you read the Bible, it is referred to as the "horn of unicorn". It represents the strength and power of God which God has instructed that i give to you," he said as he presented the gift to the President.

Not Utopia Yet, But Matured Ghanaians Understand
Touching on the present economic situation, the man of God pointed out that though Ghana is not yet a poliyical utopia, “matured” people in the country are aware of the transformation as compared to some few years back.
“If some people claim Ghana is in difficult times, at some points, I find it hard to understand them; although Ghana has not become heaven, putting politics aside and telling the truth, any matured person in this country knows perfectly that Ghana is transformed now than some few years back”, he claimed.
Highlighting some gains made by the current administration, he said; “since Akufo-Addo became President and some people claim the horn I gave him has brought hardship in the country, I rather see that the Planting for Food and Jobs program is working effectively and it is all because of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. One-District-One-Factory is working effectively....the Dumsor is no more and the Free SHS policy is working well...The policy has helped many parents in the country”.
“If I decide to recount the blessings of this country since President Akufo-Addo took over the Presidency, we will be hard-pressed for time... so I don’t see the reason why some people are saying that Akufo-Addo’s government has brought hardship on Ghanaians”, he added.
