The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bantama Constituency, Daniel Okyem Aboagye has chastised former President John Mahama for his recent comments on the controversial Power Distribution Services (PDS).
Mahama who is the presidential candidate for the NDC reacting to government's cancellation of the PDS deal said: "as someone who took over from Prof. Mills of blessed memory, and supervised the Ghana Compact II negotiations with the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the US government, I am deeply disappointed in the Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration for its handling of the deal. We are all disappointed by the self-serving decision that were taken and the deliberate acts perpetuated by the Flagstaff House in the ECG concession agreement that have led us to where we are today. This is absolutely needless and could have been avoided.”
John Mahama who was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 2020 NDC manifesto committee added: “for the MCC to withdraw $190 million of the funding amount is a sad day for us. This money was meant to improve the efficiency of our electricity utility corporation. Let me emphasize that, these shady happenings were absolutely avoidable . . . "
Okyem Aboagye speaking during a submission on UTV late news said, "if John Mahama is sad, he should go to Burkina Faso and bring back the guinea fowls . . . "

These are the people we have in our legislature to be making laws and approving bills for us. God help us
I seriously think these npp fuuulls think Ghanaians are ignoramuses and can be taken for granted. The have forgotten that NPP won by close to 1m votes because of the display of arrogance and stoupidity by some NDC leaders. And NPP are also doing the same thing. When you listen to the insults of some these guys you cringe. Wontumi, abronye, owusu bempah, Ursula and the likes of this big fuuull of an MP keep insulting Ghanaians. Just last week Ursula was telling Ghanaians they are witches and wizards for complaining things are hard and today this one too is using sarcastic language because Mahama has expressed a divergent view. The same people who voted ndc out are still alive, though few have died. Look at how Ghanaians have voted since 1992 and you can appreciate how discerning they are. Keep insulting, your day of reckoning is coming.
Is he also in parliament?
LET US HEAR MORE FROM YOU IN PARLIAMENT
AND YOU CALL YOURSELF AN MP. TALKING TO ADDRESS A FORMAL PRESIDENT THIS WAY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS OPINION JUST OFFER YOUR POSITION. WHY JUST FIX THE ECONOMY AND STOP INSULTING ANYBODY WHO DISAGREE WITH YOU.
