The People's National Convention (PNC) will on Saturday, 26th September, 2020 elect their Presidential candidate to contest the December 7 general elections.
The party is poised to compete the two main political parties, New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
They're eager to wrest power from the Akufo-Addo government.
As the party nears the D-day, the PNC former General Secretary, Atik Mohammed has made his pick for the flagbearer position.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi, he endorsed the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolga Central, David Apasera as the best contender into the elections.
"I have my preferred candidate I think amongst the lot who is the former MP for Bolga Central, Hon. David Apasera. [He will be] he's the best among the lot in my view," he stated.
When asked about the other aspirants for the party's flagbearership, Atik reserved his comment saying "it's not in my place to advertise the rest".
