Former Deputy Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine has rendered an unqualified apology to the judges of the Supreme Court (SC) over his "predetermined agenda" comment.
Appearing before the panel sitting on the Presidential Election Petition on Monday after being cited for contempt, counsel for the Bolga East MP said he "regrets his action, he is awfully sorry and deeply remorseful".
Dr Ayine has already written an apology to the bench.
Chief Justice Anin reacting to this said "all we want is a retraction and apology through the same medium"
According to him, "he spoke to the whole world on television and so he should go back there and tell them that what he did was wrong".
Meanwhile, the former deputy Attorney-General has acted on the order of the SC.

he should have been asked to sweep the streets of Bolga for 3 weeks plus some payments or cost as the case may be.
