Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has dissented to calls for the Majority in Parliament to resort to a Supreme Court ruling on the Minority's rejection of the 2022 budget.
The Minority, on Friday, November 26, voted against the budget while the Majority walked out of the House amid some misunderstanding.
The Majority however claims the Minority's action and the Speaker's allowance for proceedings to continue without them is unconstitutional.
Some Majority members have threatened to take legal means to settle the issue.
But Kwesi Pratt disagrees with this position, asking "Why do you want to destroy the Supreme Court?"
He argued that there is a perception about the authenticity of the Supreme Court in delivering a verdict.
He said the "Supreme Court Judges have biases", therefore wondering why they should abitrate this matter.
To him, going to the Supreme Court is "the worst move that anybody can make".
"The truth is one. If it's about the truth, then every time we empanel a Supreme Court, they would all come up with the same position," he emphasized.
He made these comments during Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' programme.
