Former High Commissioner to the UK, Victor Emmanuel Smith is rooting for the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo to be kept at post.
According to him, he believes the incumbent Chairman can lead the party to win the 2024 presidential election with proficiency and political rich experience.
"I expect Ofosu-Ampofo to be retained, and I pray that he is retained . . . when someone does well he is commended," he said on NEAT FM’s morning show.
Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo on Saturday, December 17, 2022, will face a keen contest with Johnson Asiedu Nketiah for the NDC’s Chairmanship position.
"I wish both of them luck," Victor Smith said.
