The attention of Polling Station Executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Western North Region has been drawn to a publication on peace fm online stating that “Because you want our votes, You’re now visiting us in six years’’ we are therefore calling on the Vice President Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia to advise his followers to do a clean campaign devoid of casting misconception and making delegates feel like they cannot take decisions for themselves.

Don't create any disaffection between delegates in Western North and Alan Cash; we are mature enough to take decisions for ourselves. We know the contribution of Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten since 1992 right from the formation of Young Executives Forum when he was the President and the resources he mobilized for the party.

We don't expect anyone to sit in their comfort zone and paint a picture to the NPP fraternity that delegates in Western North hate Alan Kyeremanten, he has served NPP with his blood, soul and resources, let us leave the decision to the delegates to make, and let's stop this unnecessary propaganda using delegates.

This comes after reading a publication on peace fm online that some delegates in the Western North Region are angry with Alan Kyeremanten for visiting them for the first time in six years because he wants their votes.

The publication stated that some of the delegates who attended the meeting of Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten were heard saying, "Alan has neglected them for six years and since he needs their vote he has come to visit them for the first time in six years"

Speaking to Miss Comfort Asante, a polling station women's organizer said, "Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten has done nothing wrong if he visits party members at this particular time" we also want to draw the attention that the current President never visited the region when he was the Attorney General but the party people knew his contribution to the party and rewarded him accordingly and the delegates of Western North will do exactly what they did for Nana Akufo Addo in 2007 to Hon Alan Kyeremanten.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" Hon Alan Kyeremanten has been good to the people of Western North under his 1D1F initiative, Sefwi Akontombra has a rice factory, Sefwi Wiawso is waiting for machines to be installed at the newly built factory at Sefwi Futa which will produce potassium salt, Rice Processing Factory at Bia West, an ultra-modern Business and Resource centre for both Bibiani and Sefwi Wiawso to provide business advisory for SMEs.

We will be happy if they visit us frequently, besides, throughout the year we have 275 constituencies so when our Ministers decide to visit all constituencies it means they will only have 90 days to work. Miss
Comfort Asante reiterated.

Moreover, some of the stakeholders of the NPP in the Western North have commended Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten for the support and love he showed to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo from the 2012 to 2020 elections which Alan was a key member in Nana Addo's campaign.

He has been with the party throughout his youthful age till date, it is his appointed time to lead the party, so let it be, by voting for him to lead us in the 2024 crucial elections, a party council of elder stated.

We, therefore call on those doing this propaganda to stop or we will respond in same vain and could even go a step further when the Vice President visit the region.

“We have government appointees in this region who has never stayed in this region for continues seven days nor visited some constituencies in the region yet they hide behind the curtains to create tension and disaffection among party members’’

We expect our leaders in the region to help the government fix the economy and not hide behind people to create unnecessary tension which will affect the party in the near future.
