All these Ndc supporters comments are totally irrelevant. You guys claimed it was political persecution and he wasn’t treated well. Now that he has been released you are now condemning the president. These entrenched political bias is the reason why the Npp supporters will still vote for their party irrespective of how difficult the economy is. After all the free SHS boarding system didn’t change a poor Ndc voter whose three children are having a free boarding education voting pattern. It is what it is.
What the ***barred word*** is this? How can our president pardon someone who was lawfully sentenced for causing financial loss to the state. This presidential privilege must be scrapped from our constitution. It is often abused for personal interest.
MR PRESIDENT ARE YOU OK?
Everyone who is in prison in Ghana comes from a certain traditional area where there is a chief. If every chief in Ghana were to write to the president to pardon a prisoner who hails from his traditional area because the person is now of good behavior will the president heed the call and direct the release of the said prisoner? Every prisoner is compelled to be of good behavior after all his or her movement is restricted. The others who were imprisoned together with him also have chiefs in the areas they hail from. The chiefs in those areas should also write to the president to pardon their subjects too. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the other Chiefs didn't know this, the Kpembe chief has taught them.
So how can we fight corruption with these presidential pardons. What we are being told is to commit the crime and when you are arrested seek for the intervention of Chief and you are good to go. If we want to really fight corruption in this country we must adopt the Chinese style that is you either kill yourself or you are killed.
Ghana is doomed with such crop of criminals calling themselves politicians, how,I mean how? If this is the what politicians are doing then there’s no way the country will develop. ***barred word*** calling themselves politicians robbing the country
Hmmmm.....'eye den oooo'. What about those who steal gosta and bunches of plantain who are jailed 10 yrs? Politicians steal millions for their next generation and are granted pardon after just 2 or 3 yrs in jail. Who wouldn't want to do this. Corruption is lucrative in Ghana!
