Charles Owusu, formerly of the Forestry Commission, says Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should have acknowledged the government’s shortcomings before going ahead to present his vision statement.
The 2024 presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), during his address to the nation on Wednesday, February 7, outlined a series of policies he intends to implement if elected president.
Among his policies, Dr. Bawumia intends to abolish the e-levy, scrap the national service, and reduce his ministers and deputies to not more than 50.
Charles Owusu during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', said: "In all, he did well but I think he should've admitted that his government indeed made some mistakes before going ahead."
