Barely 24 hours after he was relieved from his post as Ghana's Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta is set to be 'promoted' to a higher office by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, a source from the presidency told Peacefmonline.com.
Reports from the presidency indicate that the immediate former finance minister will now work as an advisor to the president on the international front.
Unconfirmed reports also say Mr. Ofori-Atta will be reappointed as 'Senior presidential advisor on the economy' and will also serve as the “president's special envoy on international investments and Capital markets”.
The confirmation of Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta's reappointment is yet to be made public by the presidency.
