Sulley Muntari's Inter Milan future seems uncertain after his agent revealed he is unsure about the status of the Ghanaian at the club.
Muntari was left out of the Inter squad that beat Cagliari 2-1 on Sunday after his poor showing in their goalless draw game against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday. The player’s agent Fabian Piveatu admits it's been a tough few days and says there are no guarantees for his future at the club.
“Sulley has had a hard time in the last two weeks, but from next week the situation should stabilise,” Piveatu tells Goal Italia. “His future? Until 15 days ago he seemed unsellable. Now I don't know. We have to evaluate everything in the next few months.”
The arrival of Wesley Sneider and Thiago Motta has increased competition in a crowded Inter midfield and Muntari has not done his prospects much good when he has been handed the opportunity this season.
But he will not be short on suitors if he becomes available in the next transfer window in January with long-time admirer Harry Redknapp of Tottenham Hotspur likely to lead the chase.
