Titans Sporting Club has organized a three day medical screening for members of its rugby team.
The screening which started on Thursday, November 12, 2015 to Saturday, November 14, 2015 was well patronized by members of the team.
The medical screening is part of conditions to ensure that members of Titans Rugby are ready for the upcoming Ghana Rugby Club Championship (GRCC) scheduled to take place on November 21, 2015 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With the assistance of the titan’s medical team, the following tests were conducted for the athletes
• Cardio-Pulmonary endurance
• Blood Pressure
• Body Mass Index
• Injury History
• Physical Assessment
In an interview with Glen Anokye (Prop, Titans Rugby) on his impression on the medical screening this what he said:
“I think this move by management is a laudable one. Our status after the screening will go a long way to boost our confidence moving into the upcoming GRC championship”.
After the medical screening, head of the titans medical staff Philans Cosmos Ankrah, (PT MGPA MIASP) congratulated Titans Rugby for a wonderful display of professionalism and emphasized that generally the team is fit going into the 2015/2016 GRCC.
