Two weeks after setting up a committee to reward the nation’s Under-20 team that won gold at the World Youth Tournament in Egypt, the 7 member committee has finally decided on the price package.
Government has presented a package worth $750,000 to the Black Satellites and their technical handlers for winning the world cup.
Each member of the Satellites playing body, has been rewarded with a 1.6 litre brand new 2009 Toyota Corolla vehicle and a cash amount of GH˘10,000.
Whiles each member of the management team received an amount of $5,000, with the coach, Sellas Tetteh and Management Committee Chairman, Jordan Anagblah, taking home a 1.8 litre version of the same vehicle in addition.
The package was presented to the team by President Mills at a ceremony at the Castle on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, about GH˘100,000 has been donated by a group of companies including Fidelity bank and IPMC.
