Ivory Coast coach Francois Zahoui will arrive in Ghana on Sunday to watch in-form Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure when they play Hearts of Oak for a possible call-up to the Elephants squad.
Zahoui has been monitoring the progress of the 24-year won was crowned the Ghana Premier League Player of the Year for last season.
Toure has announced his desire to switch allegiance and represent the Black Stars at international level after hitting a rich vein of form.
He officially wrote to the Ghana FA requesting to feature for Ghana but that process has been at snail’s pace.
Zahoui’s visit could all but end his dream of a nationality change and get him concentrated on breaking into the stellar Ivory Coast team.
It is reported that Toure’s inclusion will bring balance to the attacking force of the Elephants.
