The General Manager of Njul Football Academy, Mr. Kofi Nyantakyi is very optimistic that his academy will soon serve as a reservoire for talent production for our national teams, especially the Black Starlets.
The academy which was established two years ago at Oketsew in the Central Region is part of their social responsibility towards the people in the area.
Besides, it will offer the school drop outs the opportunity to blend academics with football in order to curb the high rate of child delinquencies in the area.
We have registered at the Ghana Football Association to participate in next years colts league. So far we have 60 plus players with two of the players already tasting professional football in Europe, he said.
The academy has a very conducive learning atmosphere with well-ventilated accommodation for interested people under age 18-years.
He therefore appealed to co-operate Ghana and other philanthropist in and around the region and the entire football globe to contribute their quota in ensuring that the dream of these future heroes is well nurtured.
