Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will arrive in Italy on Wednesday to complete a move to Italian side Juventus, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23-year-old, who is under contract with Udinese until June 2015, will leave the Fruili club after the two clubs agreed on a deal.
Asamoah, a key member of the Udinese side that finished third in Serie A this campaign, has attracted interest from around Europe including clubs like Manchester United.
However, Juventus have stolen a march on their rivals in the chase for the signature of the Ghanaian player.
Asamoah, who was part of Ghanas squad that played Zambia over the weekend, arrived in Accra on Monday night to continue with his summer holidays.
Even though he is supposed to be on holidays, the midfielder says he will arrive in Europe tomorrow to have issues sorted out.
He tweeted on Tuesday morning: I am in Ghana now. Flying again tonight back to Europe and hopefully sort things out.
He scored three goals in 31 league appearances to help his team finish third in Serie A.
Last summer, Udinese sold Alexis Sanchez, Gokhan Inler and Cristian Zapata after finishing fourth in Serie A and qualifying for the Champions League.
The departures did not stop the Friuli side improving on that finish this season.
