Wassaman United coach Abubakar Yussif has blamed his players for their FA Cup semi-final defeat to New Edubiase.
After playing with a man down for more than an hour, New Edubiase snatched the winner in the final minutes of the game to reach their first major finals.
I am not surprised that they also won. At recess I told the boys that its dangerous playing a team which is down by a man so if they relax, it will be difficult for us and that is exactly what happened, Yussif told Accra-based Citi FM.
The former Hearts of Oak coach was also full of praise for his opponents.
I am not surprised, they encouraged themselves and played very well above their strength, I am not surprised, he said.
Edubiase were reduced to 10 men after referee William Agbovi controversially sent off Nartey Polo in the 32nd minute. They, however, dominated the midfield and created more scoring opportunities than their opponents.
Edubiase will now face AshGold in the final at the Accra Sports Stadium next Sunday.
