Italy-based midfielder Afriyie Acquah says he had a feeling he was going to score in Saturdays decisive 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.
The on-loan Parma player connected Andre Ayews cross on four minutes for Ghanas 1-0 win over the Flames at the Civo Stadium.
When I was entering the pitch, I had a right feeling it was going to be my day, Acquah told MTNFootball.com
I took a lot of inspiration from the way the coach called him and into the team and that made me strong.
I told my agent Oliver Arthur I feel like I have won a CAF Award.
Acquah was handed a last minute call-up into the Ghana squad after Udinese ace Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu picked up an injury.
The 20-year-old has now earned his second international cap.
