Ghana's preparations for their quarter-final clash against Cape Verde was handed a massive boost with the return of three players to training.
Anthony Annan, Mubarak Wakaso and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom were involved in light training at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University on Tuesday.
The trio jogged and were involved in kick-abouts in a session supervised by assistant coach Maxwell Kondau.
Youngster Boakye has not played a single match since twisting his ankle during the team's pre-tournament camping in Abu Dhabi.
The 19-year-old striker will be assessed further ahead of Saturday's last eight encounter.
Annan aggravated an ankle injury when he came on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with DR Congo in Ghana's opener.
Wakaso, suspended for the final Group match against Niger, sustained a knee injury in the match against Mali.
The news will be a big relief for the technical team who will require a healthy squad to break down the resolute Cape Verde side.
