The forward who had a hand in securing a penalty for the Local Black Stars has earned loads of plaudits from this boss.
Ghanas home-based coach Maxwell Konadu has lauded striker Seidu Bancey for his sterling performance in a 0-1 victory over Ethiopia in the CHAN competition ongoing in South Africa.
Bancey, 24, was instrumental when he replaced suspended Yahaya Mohammed in their last group game on Tuesday at the Free State Stadium.
The Asante Kotoko forward, who prior to this competition has scored eight goals in seven matches in the Ghana top flight, orchestrated the Local Black Starsďż˝ penalty that was well converted by defender Kwabena Adusei to hand Ghana a quarter-final berth.
He did extremely well when the need arises and that is what every coach expects from his striker, Konadu said in a post-match interview.
