Kotoko coach Mas-ud Dramani feels the delay start of the Ghana Premier League has been a blessing in disguise for his club.
According to the astute tactician, the delay has afforded his side the opportunity to prepare adequately ahead of the start of the league.
The Porcupine Warriors managed a narrow 1-0 win over Ivorian side Tanda FC in their latest pre-season friendly on Sunday to leave them without a defeat in their last ten games.
Dramani says the delay start of the league has been beneficial to his club.
Although the delay in the start of the Ghana Premier League is an issue, to a larger extent it has helped us, he said
Most of the new players, who joined Kotoko this season, did so very late and the delay has enabled them to have pre-season with us and I think we are now poised for action when the season starts.
The Premier League has delayed following a legal battle between King Faisal and the Ghana FA.
Faisal are contesting their demotion from the countrys top-tier league and have therefore dragged the FA to court over the matter.
