The Ghanaian centre back could return to the fold of the Star of Anatolia within two weeks after making progress in his recovery.
Eskişehirsporďż˝s Ghanaian defender Jerry Akaminko could be in action in the next couple of weeks as he nears full fitness, Goal Ghana can reveal.
The Ghanaian, who got injured in an international friendly prior to the 2014 World Cup, made steady progress over the weekend and could have featured against Balikersirspor, but his club thought it wise not to risk him.
Akaminko is now in the care of a separate medical team and a fitness trainer who will work on him to ensure that he bounces back within two weeks.
The return of Akaminko will be good news for both club and country as his absence in central defense has been deeply missed.
