An Accra High court has dismissed an injunction placed on the Ghana Football Association�s presidential election scheduled for August 18.
Legal practitioner Lawyer John Quayson had placed an injunction on the impending elections which was scheduled to take place in Tamale.
A ruling which came out on Friday however saw the verdict going in favor of the Ghana Football Association.
The judge in addition slapped the petitioner, Lawyer Quayson with a fine of $2,000.
The situation paves way for the Ghana Football Association to hold their upcoming elections on Tuesday.
FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi will run unopposed after all applicants failed to meet the necessary requirement to vie for the top post.
