Asante Kotoko has quashed widespread reports indicating the Club was planning to embark on a Pre-season training tour in Togo.
Reports were rife in the media that the Porcupine Warriors were considering having their Preseason training exercise at the neighboring country ahead of the new season.
Kotoko held a two week training camp in Sekondi ahead of a busy season.
The Ghanaian giants are known for having preseason training exercises outside the country.
But spokesperson for the Club Kweku Ahenkrah has rebuffed such reports in the media.
“It is not true. I can only say that it is a figment of someone’s imagination. Asante Kotoko have no intention of going to Togo for any training tour. If there is any such news, we will let it out,” Kwaku Ahenkorah said.
The Ghanaian giants are having a successful pre-season campaign having defeated regional rivals Ashanti Gold in the SIC Nyamatei SWAG Cup.
