Chelsea are preparing a €25million bid for Ghanaian international midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, Gazzetta dello Sports has reported.
The 27-year-old remains a target for incoming blues manager Antonio Conte who is reported to have expressed interest in the versatile Ghanaian midfielder.
Conte who worked with Asamoah at Juventus sees the player as an option for his expected new three-back formation at Chelsea.
The Italian manager is however keen on bringing the former Udinese star to the Stamford Bridge.
Asamoah himself had a fruitless season at Juventus having battled series of injuries throughout the season.
The player is however likely to join countrymen Abdul Baba Rahman and Christian Atsu who is currently serving a loan spell at Juventus.
Chelsea will not taste European football next season as they find themselves at a disappointing 10th position on the League table.
