Ghana midfielder Michael Essien is in talks with Saudi Pro League giants Al Ittihad over a possible move to the Club.
Essien is in search of a new Club after his release by Greek outfit Panathiniakos.
The 31-year-old was deemed surplus at the Club due to his constant injury problems.
The ex-Chelsea star could be on his way to join countryman Sulley Muntari at the Arabian Club in the next few weeks.
The former AC Milan midfielder has also been linked to China with a number of Clubs reportedly interested in signing the Ghanaian international.
