Ghanaian attacker John Antwi has been fined $11,000 by his Club Al Ahly for departing training without permission before their CAF Champions League match against ZESCO United.
Antwi is said to have absconded himself from training prior to the crucial game against the Zambian Champions.
The former Sekondi Hasaacas forward refused to train with the team without a reason.
He has hence been fined for breaking camp rules.
The player meanwhile is expected to return to training as they prepare for their final Group game against ASEC Mimosas.
Al Ahly are third in Group A of the Champions League with 5 points after five matches.
