Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah believes the Black Stars chances of qualifying to the World Cup remains a doubt after losing 2-0 to Egypt on Sunday.
Egypt avenged a defeat suffered at the hands of the Black Stars after recording a famous victory over the four-time African Champions at the Borg Al-Arab Stadium.
Mohammed Salah and Abdual Seid scored to keep Ghana’s chances of making it to the World Cup in doubt.
Mensah admits qualifying to Russia 2018 will be tough.
“It is going to be tough, we now play Congo in our next game and is not going to be easy,” he said.
“We came to win but unfortunately we lost. Is it going to be tough, we have four more games.”
Ghana will next play Congo at home in August 2017.
