A leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress has called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to appoint one of the party's communicators to serve in his administration for his sterling performance during political discussion in the media in the run up to last year's general elections.
Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, John Jinapor, a former Deputy Minister of Power, noted that as the President is releasing the list of Ministers for Parliamentary approval, he shouldn't forget the hard work and tenacity of Henry Nana Boakye, popularly called Nana B.
He noted on the programme that Nana B played a very instrumental role in the campaign season, prior to the 2016 elections.
In a rare show of patting the back one's political opponent, the Yapei-Kusawgu NDC MP said the NPP communicator's contribution cannot be overlooked and so, President Nana Addo should reward his sacrifices; "because it will appear that we rewarding sacrifice. We’re rewarding hard work. It’s not because Nana B is sitting here but he has really done well.”
Meanwhile, the President has named his ministerial nominees with the numbers totalling to 36.
Top on the list is former Finance Minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo as a Senior Minister.
The Ministerial nominees include Albert Kan-Dapaah for National Security, Dominic Nitiwul for Defence, Alan Kyeremateng for Trade and Industry, Ken Ofori Atta for Finance, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful for Communications among others.

@Sara you said talk is performance? non-sen-ce can party stay quiet and come to power? what are you talking about? people you make people feel that they are not important among others
Please do not rush the young man. Let him finish his studies as a lawyer, under study a few 'full grown species' and then he can fly.
In fact JJ is never wrong to say this.Nana B contributed immensely to the NPP's coming this far and I would solemnly join JJ to wish that he is given a nod to serve in Nana's administration. He is humble, competent and selfless.
You see why they failed? How can talk be performance?
I think I agree to this suggestion. Nana B really deserves a fix.
How do you compare this to the input of Nana Akomea over the years?. The queue is long and some must have patience and grow within the party hierarchy. Well done though but their time will come. They should not force their way up less they fall. Nana Addo was patient so must it be an example to all in the political ladder
I really agree with this suggestion. Nana B, Ken Koranchie,Sammy Awuku,Kwamina Dungan and one guy at Oman fm from the Brong Ahafo but have forgotten his name and My own Kwaku Baako were very good communicators for NPP. But much the same way we need technocrats who can also deliver.
So that one day you will tell all Ghanaians that you have made him what he is. Please ''chop your line inside'' because Nana knows who to appoint.
So John Jinapor knows that people must be rewarded for sacrifice and hard work. So why was Lawyer Tetteh Wayoe not seen in the same light and same advice given to JM. Lawyer Tetteh Wayoe was on TV3 for almost 8 months during the 2012 election petition, holding the forth for the course of JM. Or his was not enough sacrifice and hard work. Please, people must practice what they preach!
It's really true, nana b should be rewarded by h.e. Nana b is my mentor.
