Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur will deliver a special message from President John Dramani Mahama on behalf of the government and people of Ghana to the Black Stars.
He would interact with the players and the technical team in Maceio, the base of the national team, to boost their morale ahead of Ghana's World Cup opener against the US on Monday.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur who watched the opening match between host nation Brazil and Croatia last night told the media that the Black Stars will do something that no African nation has been able to achieve in the annals of the world cup.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the head coach Kwasi Appiah and the players to make Ghana and Africa proud.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur was optimistic that the Black Stars will for the third consecutive time beat the US.
