@Nana Gyamfi you gave a very learned and insightful comment.GOOD to know there are people like you.Unnecessary rumors must stop
There are people and institutions in America that still oppose gay marriage. And the US government or lawmakers have not made any law to bar people from entering America based on their views on gay marriage so why would there be such a speculation? And i am wondering when and how it came about that the arch bishop was put in a situation to have to officiate a gay marriage, He is not pastoring a church in America, I understand ACI has branches in America but each with its own pastor. The branches of ACI if they under 501(c) and might be required to comply with federal laws preventing discrimination, they have options to go out of that bond and surely the Arch Bishop will not be help liable for a local pastor who breaks the law. It is okay for us to have our opinions but we must understand that relations with the United States as well as with our clergy like the Arch bishop are all vital for us to keep and protect thus the need to be responsible with rumours we circulate about such things.
