The Lead Pastor of the Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, says until he gets further explanations from Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi on his viral preaching, he will not condemn his fellow preacher.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, he said “We have to hear his explanation on why he said that before I can take any decision.”
The founder and leader of the Glorious Wave Ministries International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, courted controversy this weekend when he described women within Coastal lands of Ghana as unwise and unmarriageable materials, admonishing prospective husbands not to marry from that tribe compared to others in some parts of the country.
“Fanti women are foolish sometimes, and Ewes too are doormats. But for Ashanti women no!” He warned.
According to the controversial preacher, despite women from Ashanti tribes being wise, he will not allow any of his sons or close relations to marry from Ashanti tribes because of their ingratitude to their husbands.
“If you marry Ashanti lady, you have imported problem for yourself forever. I have done research and it is so”, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi told his congregation how he arrived at that conclusion.

If you don't like what the man said, quickly go and get yourself an asante woman and see how you end will be. Gimifo, when you being helped, you are demonstrating.
Matthew 7:16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Ghanafo paaaaaaaa some of you are so fuuuulish ooo. Whatever the man said is plain truth. Especially what he said about the ashantis. As for the fantis he was not categorical, he only said sometimes, which means generally speaking, the fanti women are very wise. The word sometimes he used sounded like he meant they are gullible. Who doesn't know that the ewe women are cowed by their men. Thier husband mistreats them. Even many ewe woman I know has confirmed it. Maybe he shouldn't have said it in public the way he did, but everything he said is 100% truth. Many men have died because of what they went through at the hands of their ashantis wives. Many ewe women have died because of how their husbands treated them. Is it not true that the fantis are normally those who leave everything to God even when they need to stand for their right? The word fuuull was probably a very strong word to use, but he qualified it with are sometimes fuulls, which means in greater times they are very wise. What do Ghanaians want again.
THATS THE OTHER NDC PASTOR
So why did pastor Wengam at all show up on this, Sir being leader and a pastor of your caliber means a lot to the youth. You were appointed politically to bring hope to the prisons in the then government (NDC). Now that NPP is in power and you know that Pastor Kobi has shown his affiliation you are coming out subtly to throw a passive support. That is not good. Just keep quite.
The man of God making such comments is unfortunate, very distasteful and should be condemned. This brings me further to suggest that the authorities in Ghana should research seriously into the activities and the operations the so called Charismastic churches. Then, most of their activities in terms of otherwise preaching the word of God to augment the good morals of the society, have rather become counterproductive. It seems to me some of the churches have their own diabolic ageda to make their members foooolish, dependant and manipulative so that, they can easily be deceived. The case of the Rwanda example must be looked into, and may be, to be replicated in Ghana. The Pastor was inciting gender against tribes in the church.
You would not comment because you are one of the bad apples, ***barred word***
if it were Owusu Bempah, you would have called for his incarceration may be because he is Asante and does not belong to your party. its really really sad, how Christianity has become hypocrisy in Ghana. Heaven, heaven abeyere saa.
You will not because you think like him. What the man said is clear. You don't need a professor to explain this to you. Waiting for what explanation? From who? or where? Even a child of 6 years can decipher the truth in this. I am disappointed in you. The so-called prophets and pastors of our time.
